I Have Thin Eyebrows, And I Want To Know How Long It Typically Takes Them To Grow Back?

Right now my eyebrows are pretty thin. I want them thicker and am probably going to change the shape as well, once they grow back. This question is addressed to anyone that has had thin eyebrows before, but who now have beautiful thick eyebrows. How long did it take for them to grow back?

it takes about 6 weeks…but if you start using biotin that helps also rubbing oil on your eyebrows each night….that helps to stimulate the follicles
it takes a while for them to grow back, but i have light hair so if you have darker hair they should start showing up a little faster. for now you can just pencil your eyebrows in and make a new shape. if you find a shape you like you could pluck around the pencil lines until they grow back.
I had my eyebrows waxed about 5 weeks ago. The woman made them arch way too soon, making them look too thin, so I’ve been growing them back. Right now, they’re about just over halfway to where I want them. People may say it only takes a week or two, but this isn’t true. For teenage girls, the average is nine weeks of growth. You may not notice hair growth until the fourth week, as 1/3 of the hair’s length lies beneath the surface of the skin. Also, the tips of our hairs are usually much thinner and paler than the rest of it, so even if there is hair above the surface of your skin, you may not see it until it grows to a good length.
I know this sounds like a long time, but if you wait it out, it’ll be there for life. =]

Edit – While I’m a brunette, my eyebrows are black, so I’ve been filling in the over-plucked sections with eyeliner. I then run a wet Q-tip over it to blend and lighten the line, so that it’s undecipherable against the hair. If you want to fill your brows in until the hairs grow back, you can try any number of the products on the shelves at your local makeup store. Everyone has something different that works for them.
